The Diné Hataałii Association hereby announces that the previously issued ceremonial restrictions end on Monday, September 28, 2026.
Since time immemorial, it has been our practice to observe a period of reverence and respect when one of the elements takes a human life. This period allows us to honor those who have passed, acknowledge the circumstances of their passing, and offer prayers for their families and loved ones.
We offer our sincere thanks to all medicine persons who honored the ceremonial limits and took part in remembering those who have passed on. Your understanding, discipline, and reverence for our traditional ways are deeply appreciated.
May your prayers continue to strengthen our people, our communities, and our Nation as we move forward in peace, respect, and unity.
